Response Edit : I have contacted staff at the time of this review. They did nothing more than point their finger at me with no evidence. Once I made it clear I will not be paying fines for breaking a legal contract when I have not done anything wrong without any evidence, they backed down. Apparently it also wasn't clear I have put in MULTIPLE work orders in 7 months and nothing has been fixed, including the move-in issues that were supposed to be fixed within a month. I would not suggest anyone attempt to move here. The response is evidence enough that they don't even care enough to look into problems or even read a review in full, and they love to blame people based on nothing but word of mouth which is NOT evidence.
I have lived in this complex for nearly a year with my girlfriend. We have never caused any disturbances, never caused problems with neighbors, and never bothered management unless absolutely necessary. We take care of our apartment, keeping it clean and doing what we can to make this property nice for everyone. We ALWAYS clean up after our dog 100% of the time, we even pay for our own bags because the "dog stations" are very often out of bags and not refilled. We are now being threatened with $50 disposal charges because "there have been complaints from neighbors" after threatening emails were sent saying if somebody didn't blame their neighbors, everyone would be charged for disposal. There is no evidence that we don't clean up after our dog, but because management threatened the entire building of 1137, people began pointing fingers at other dog owners without evidence. Rather than investigate the issue, management left a threatening letter on my door saying if they received another complaint I would be charged. This is on top of the many maintenance issues that have been ignored including a broken garbage disposal for 7 months now, a hole in our screen door from the previous owner, a closet door that doesn't open properly, a bedroom window that barely opens and makes horrible sounds if it does, many light bulbs being burnt out, and a fireplace chimney so filthy it would dangerous to light a fire in. Management was handled much better under Liberty, we are sad to see she was replaced by somebody who would rather make false accusations without any evidence and does not care about the conditions their tenants apartments are in as long as they receive rent and as many additional fees as possible.
