I've lived in 4 apartment complexes before The Lodge. Hands down this is the worst place I have ever resided. I cannot explain how awful the management is. Vee, the property manager, has done absolutely the bare minimum. She nor the staff ever take responsibility for their mistakes, late maintenance attending, or shortages they give you while living here. I didn't have a working dishwasher the first month I lived here, my whole kitchen floor would have standing water from it leaking when I tried to run it, then after two weeks they finally fixed that... only to further find out the workers had my water turned off and never turned it back on after repairing it and it was another two weeks before they got around to turning it on so I could use it. The washers and dryers are filled with mold. You can't even open the door without being overwhelmed with the smell of it. The pool didn't open until mid July and closed first weekend of September. As of May 2018 the City Hall informed me that they don't even have an active business license, the owner of the company lives in California.. I was provided with a contact number for him and he never answered or returned my messages. I had new neighbors move in above me the maintenance crew were hammering the floors for at least 1-2 days and I thought they were just fixing the place up for the new tenants so I said nothing. After they changed the floors without the managements awareness it was like they took the padding completely out of the floor so living below them absolutely miserable. Whatever they did made sounded like bowling balls were just dropping like bombs constantly. I was constantly being woken up by screaming and throwing things, banging and beating on the walls and floors and I couldn't get any help. When I told Vee the property manager she told me she didn't even know what I was talking about she didn't have any knowledge of people working on the floors above me, and she would look in the books later to check. Never did until I had to schedule a meeting with the regional manager. When I was explaining to Vee about the hammering and loud music the workers were playing (not upset by it just proving someone had been there working on the floors) she replied "well why didn't you let me know?" Like it was my job to babysit her employees. Like it was my job to report what her staff was doing because she wasn't aware of the situation. The regional manager, Brandi, took out an hour of my day to lie to my face and never once called me after, answered any of my calls, or returned my messages.. they just told me what I wanted to hear to hold me over and then did nothing.. didn't even give basic respectful communication. That is literally the minimum of what a manager is supposed to do, at least provide informative or responding communication which was never done. Also had my deadbolt on my door broken and it took them a month to do a three minute fix. She promised me multiple times it would be finished by the end of that day and before I went out of town. I was having to put a couch in front of my door at night and leave my door unlocked when I left because again they didn't do the bare minimum of their job. When I went out of town and her promise of my door being fixed was not met I then had to have my mother stay while I was gone and she too had to put a couch in front of the door at night so it wouldn't blow open in the middle of the night.
