TL;DR - Nice Staff, but absolutely rushed job, pretty significant issues on day 1, and lack of real ability to solve maintenance issues that are in any way urgent. If you have heat-sensitivity/pets, might look elsewhere.
Jayson was very personable and responsive, and made move-in a breeze! There was a couple of small maintenance items that they took care of within literally 10 minutes. I am looking forward to my time here and am happy know that I can rely on the great team at the Lodge!
Edit: So much for a few small issues, Literally the DAY AFTER MOVE-IN, the A/C wasn't working, so we had maintenance out TWICE on-call on a weekend. They gave us a portable unit and EVEN THAT cannot keep up with the heat. We have been in an 85 degree apartment for now 4 days, and since they only have 6 of those AC Units for the entire complex, they have no more to spare. When they FINALLY sent for the ACTUAL HVAC company, they determined that there was a rodent in the attic that had shredded up the tubing, which was why it isn't working. I IMMEDIATELY walked to the front office which, despite google saying they're open until 5:30, the main woman running the complex said they were actually closed and that maintenence was gone at 4:30 and had no solutions to offer. I called the emergency number as my apartment is STILL getting hotter, and the maintenance supervisor acted like this was the first time they had ever had this happen. I'm not shocked it happened, but I'm shocked that the ONLY option was to be temporarily displaced into an unfurnished apartment with no internet and obviously none of our food. We also have a kitten - something we've made a point about, as if something ends up happening to our cat because of the Lodge's negligence, they will be the ones footing our vet bill. Frankly, I wouldn't pay a penny to stay in 85+ degree heat, and they charge upwards of $1200/month. I've been trying to be understanding, but there are simply too many problems here for me to be able to overlook this as "just normal move-in bumps". The first technician - whose name I never caught - needs to be fired for incompetence, and I am going to be walking to their office when they open tomorrow to have a little chat because I refuse to pay rent if they can't even keep the conditions livable.
